As a Verifications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services.
Your expertise in pre-visit insurance verification, surgical authorizations, and pre-authorizations is vital to our organization and maximizing our revenue.
Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures through various portals and telephone verification.
- Submit claims in a timely manner through EHR/PM System - Collect payments, Check-In, Check-Out at the Front Desk - Assist in the telephone cue and triage patients - Assist in revenue cycle by calling clients about delinquent payments - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems ( ICD-10), and billing processes - Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and analyze medical records - Familiarity with medical office procedures and workflows - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively - Strong communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers - Knowledge of medical collection practices and strategies If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance in insurance verification, we encourage you to apply.
