This person will manage the kennel techs as well as perform kennel tech duties as needed.
Some of the specific tasks are feeding, administering meds, cleaning runs, taking dogs out to the yard, checking welfare of each animal in our care.
They will also be keeping up the cat room by feeding, cleaning litter boxes and daily welfare checks.
This person will be responsible for inventory regarding the kennel, letting management know when we need supplies as well as reporting anything that needs repair or attention.
They will be a great communicator and proficient in customer service.
As a manager this person will be asked to open and/or close from time to time.
They will communicate with customers and Rescue organization regarding dogs and cats in our care.
They will work closely with the Office Manager covering front office which includes checking in and out, phones and other things as they arise.
This candidate must have experience managing or leading kennel staff and must have verifiable references.
We are still growing and are looking for someone who is ready to take us to the next level and work with a great bunch of compassionate animal lovers.
