Position
Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will have a key role in our plant and the upkeep of our equipment.
Responsibilities will include efficiently resolving equipment failures, responding to maintenance service requests, and keeping all documentation on our machines up to date.
Effective communication to colleagues coupled with the ability to repair the equipment will be pivotal.
The ideal candidate will be able to consistently provide great response times and quality work to our colleagues and submit documentation to our database.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for maintaining all equipment at our PCR facility Responsible for Preventative Maintenance tasks and schedules Responsible for providing technical support to managers Responsible for Changing Motors (Need to be competent on how to wire in a motor) Oil and Filter Changes Gearbox changes and rebuilds Competent using a multi meter to check voltage Conveyer belt repairs Hydraulic system repairs Balers (Vertical and Horizontal) Pump rebuilds (Waste water Treatment plant) Water filtration Bearing replacements Auger replacements Chain repair Skills and Abilities:

To thrive in this role, the Maintenance Technician will need to possess the following minimum educational background, skills and
Experience:
Advanced understanding of mechanical operation, hydraulic systems, machinery repair, maintenance procedures and technical terminology Basic excel skills including illustration of information (e.
g.
machine components) and presentation of information (e.
g.
preventative maintenance guides) Ability to communicate ideas in a clear, effective, professional manner Previous Experience being a Maintenance Technician or a field service technician Previous experience rebuilding pumps, motors, and gear boxes Previous experience in replacing chains, augers, and V-belts Previous experience in setting and replacing overload protectors.
Previous experience in 3 phase 480V, 230v single phase 220v/110V electrical testing Previous experience with Level Sensors and flow meters RS-232/485 Communications experience (Equipment integration) Controls/Rockwell Training a plus but not required.
